I first visited this place around 2011 and have frequented there pretty often. Not a bad place if you ask me. The western ghats starts from this region and also the yagachi river originates from the surrounding hills.

Food is good, staff is friendly, stay is in the pepper and coffee plantation. We really enjoyed every second of our stay in br hills. Rooms are very basic, good enough for jungle homestay. Also called ananda giri, which means the ‘hill of happiness’.
